Application of Lithium nitrate
Lithium nitrate is a chemical compound. Its chemical formula is LiNO3. It contains lithium and nitrate ions.
Lithium nitrate is a colorless solid. It makes a red flame when heated. It is an oxidizing agent. It breaks down when heated into lithium oxide, nitrogen dioxide, and oxygen.
This metal can be made by reacting lithium, lithium hydroxide, lithium oxide, or lithium carbonate with nitric acid.
Application :
Molten salt chemistry and metallurgy, antistatic agent for non-woven fabrics, oxidizing agent, flame colorant in flares and fireworks, etchant in glass manufacture.
Used for refrigeration equipment liquid ammonia stabilizers, the rocket propellant, fireworks manufacturing oxidant, glass etching agent, antistatic agent, metallurgy industry in plasma-nitriding components, etc
